Ticket sales information

The information on this page is correct as of February 2012 and is subject to change for the next production in July 2012.

Tickets for our productions can be reserved or purchased in advance or bought on the night of the performance.

Ticket prices for performances in the Experimentiertheater are currently as follows:

• Adults: 10 Euros
• Concessions (Students, school pupils etc. with ID): 7 Euros

These prices apply to all tickets purchased in advance and from the box office and include any booking fees.

How do I get hold of tickets for EDS performances?

1. Purchase your tickets from the English department library at the university

As soon as ticket sales commence (two weeks before the opening night) you can buy tickets from the English department library, room C601, Bismarckstr. 1 in Erlangen during their normal opening hours. Tickets can only be bought here in person as the library is unable to accept reservations. Please note also that the library staff are unable to give any information about ticket availability or our performances via the telephone.

2. Buy tickets in advance from the ticket shop "Erlangen Ticket"

Tickets can also be bought from the ticket shop "Erlangen Ticket" (Tel: 09131/ 22195), Neuer Markt in Erlangen. Please check the opening hours here. Tickets which are reserved by telephone from here must be collected from the ticket shop in person by 16.00 on the day of the performance at the latest.

3. Order your tickets online

Tickets can be reserved online for all performances and paid for at the box office on the night of the performance. Subject to availability reservations are possible until 2 hours before the performance starts. We would like to advise you that reserved tickets must be collected and paid for at least 20 minutes before the performance begins, otherwise, in the event that the performance is sold out, your tickets may be resold.

This service is for reservations only - it is not possible to buy and pay for your tickets online.The box office opens 45 minutes before the performance commences. Please note that we are only able to accept payment in cash.

4. Buy tickets on the night from the box office

Subject to availability you can of course also buy tickets on the night of the performance from 45 minutes before the show starts.
